Daytona Beach, FL — August 7, 2024 — Minto Communities USA and Margaritaville have announced that Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach Town Center amenities have been expanded to provide even more opportunities for gathering, entertainment and play in the popular community. Residents celebrated the grand opening of the expanded amenities on July 26. Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach is being developed by master-developer Minto Communities USA under license from global lifestyle brand Margaritaville Holdings.

The amenities expansion includes the addition of The Sand Bar at the Latitude Town Center with a second outdoor swimming pool, additional pool deck, and a restroom building that showcases a tropical inspired mural by local artist Natasha Azari, co-founder of the Save the Arts movement in Daytona Beach. The Sand Bar’s oversized tiki hut includes a colorful Margaritaville-styled food and beverage trailer, seating and TV screens for live-streaming concerts and action from the Latitude Town Square. The Sand Bar’s signature dishes and beverage concoctions include The Sand Bar Burger, Stranded on a Sandbar, and Sand Bucket cocktails. Residents also can order from the Latitude Bar & Chill menu for deliveries to The Sand Bar.

The expansion also includes more open space, more gathering areas around the bandshell for concertgoers, and covered gathering and picnic areas with barbeque grills. The multipurpose sports court has been restriped to create an additional pickleball court option as well as a practice wall for tennis and pickleball players. A new outdoor sports field has been added to accommodate the latest Latitude Margaritaville craze — Fins Ball, a baseball-like game with a plastic ball that has taken the community by storm.

According to Scott Gambone, Minto Vice President of Hospitality and Lifestyle, “With the Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach amenities expansion, our residents have some exciting new additions to the already best-in-class, award-winning Latitude Town Center.” Completed amenities at Latitude Town Center include the Fins Up! Fitness Center, a massive lagoon-style Paradise Pool with beach-like entry and its own Tiki Island, Latitude Bar & Chill restaurant, and Changes in Attitude poolside bar. The area also features a Last Mango Theater, Barkaritaville Pet Spa, Workin’ N’ Playin’ Center with Coconut Telegraph Business Center, Arts & Crafts room, Clayground pottery studio, Hangar workshop, and multi-purpose rooms.

The centerpiece of the Latitude Town Square is a thatched roof band shell with full-size concert stage and jumbo screen for live concerts and movies. There are sports courts for pickleball, tennis and bocce with lighting for night play, nature trails and a Barkaritaville Dog Park. Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach residents even have their own private Beach Club on the Atlantic Ocean with shuttle service from the community.

Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach was the first of the Latitude Margaritaville communities to open, and has exceeded all sales projections. The community’s final phase of available homesites recently opened for sales. Minto’s popular Conch Cottage homes will be built in the final phase with homes starting in the $300s.

The Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach sales center is located at 2400 LPGA Boulevard in Daytona Beach, Florida. The sales center and 13 model homes are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
